Federal Aviation Regulations and Aeronautical Information Manual (FAR/AIM)

Airman Certification Standards
The FAA provides us with Airmen Certification Standards. These sets of standards are what are expected of a pilot to preform on their checkride in order to receive their respective pilot’s license or rating. It is imperative that student reference and understand these standards for whatever license or rating they are seeking. There are physical books you can purchase or there is a free online copy available on the FAA’s website. Just make sure you’re referencing the pilot’s license or rating you’re training towards.
Pilot’s Handbook for Aeronautical Knowledge (PHAK)
